our well known dance-tripper dodo martino put toghether some beats to warm up our minds and prepare our bodies for this summer season, and realised this hot ep called “take me away”. the groovyness of this track is something that will take you away for sure!

we are back, and francesco leali is back too! he just crank out two stylish tracks that will set the floor. the first one, acqua drums, is a melodic sailing into the deephouse world, with exciting strings and relaxing water effects fused toghether by a very warm bassline.

the second one is a more “solid” track, developed around a great drum and a groovy bassline plus a special live congas performance by francesco himself.

recently some guys around berlin found one of our last releases interesting, and decided to tell it to the rest of the german world.
they are the guys behind de:bug magazine, a fresh german press about techmusic and more; and the release is our dlr037 azul ep.
since they are a german press, all the textes are available in german only… but don’t get scared! we have a nice translation here below ;)

“paper heart is already so expressive in his vocal style that you can feel the tattered soul and why he can’t get rid of it. a deep house track with a strangely airy groove, where the organs and the gently scratching techno percussions blend perfectly with slightly deductions.
azul is a bit more direct and definitely has an ibiza-like flair, more polished and easy in its classic style, but unfortunately the pan flute makes me not to enjoy this piece.”

it’s a double track ep named “jambo!”. guessing why? all your questions will be answered by easily listening to the 1st side: a real journey into the african rhythms and melodies! a very happy and powerful track to heat the dancefloor like the african sun! on the other side, with “peter gunn” dodo revisited some past sonorities in a thrillery mood, getting inspirations from the blues brothers and the 70’s american gangsta movies. a track full of police followings, for a return to the metropoli’s rhythms!

the ♥dlr crew is extremely happy to present you the new ‘azul e.p.’ from clay & francesco leali.

the lead track of what is the label’s 37th release, ‘azul’ is a moody, deep house cut. a strong foreboding bassline is accompanied by sparklingly clean percussion and warm vocals, performed by the two artists.

on the flip francesco flies solo on ‘paper heart’. very much inline with the A side, the track opens with full helping of deepness, only broken by the techie synths that control the remainder of the track.
